Hidden navigation vs visible navigation

In this article “15 Epic UX Tips For Your Homepage Design In 2017 ” I found an interesting study on this…
They compared hidden navigation against visible navigation(visible icons or a list of options).

Here are the results:

On desktop:
+ Hidden menus were used in only 27% of the cases, while visible or combo navigation was used almost twice as much.
+ People were 39% slower when the navigation was hidden

On Mobile:
+ People used the hidden navigation in 57% of the cases, and the combo navigation in 86% of the cases.
+ People were 15% slower when the navigation was hidden

Conclusion:
Hidden navigation sucks
