Study: 1 day to crack your growth blind spots

No matter how smart a person is – we all have weaknesses and blind spots.

Here’s the approach – it’s called “Growth executives swap companies for a day”:

1. Everything started from “I’ll come to your office for an entire day
and provide feedback on your blind spots. And vice versa. You in?”

They and their bosses were in.

2. Before swapping, a few days prior, they shared an overview of their company’s data & business.

3. Then they started the work day by asking tons of questions on topics
including, but not limited to, margins, virality, seasonal buying
behavior, previous hires, discounting, email marketing, acquisition,
personas, LTV, branding, conversions, etc.

4. The second part of the day was invested in writing a document broken down into:

+ Macro thoughts on the business

+ Thoughts on the how they could gain more time & headspace

+ Growth strategy feedback (what I’m seeing, what’s great, what’s missing, etc.)

+ Tactical ideas for unexplored areas.

5. They shared these documents with each other and with the world.
