100K shares [study] + A viral template

How many of your posts on Facebook went viral?

It‘s hard to admit but 99.9% of people have had 0 viral posts.

That‘s because 99.9% don‘t use this approach that can generate over 100K shares.

The approach is as old as the world – don‘t try to come up with something new and test it for ages, just copy the most viral posts. Use them as a template.

Here‘s an awesome example that I stumbled upon yesterday.

On January 9, 2017, somebody uploaded a photo to a small Facebook group.

There was text on the photo (translate from Russian): “This boy is Ilia Kochergin and he won in the world‘s Olympiad in Physics. He bypassed rivals from 90 countries. And none of the major media outlets mentioned this. Let‘s support this guy by sharing this post.”

This news was fake. But it gained 115K shares.

A year later another guy decided to use this viral photo as a template. He just changed the name of the boy and title of the Olympiad and posted it.

Boom! 133K shares.
